OUR COFFEE GOES THROUGH 9 FILTRATION SYSTEMS BEFORE BEING PACKAGED

GREEN COFFEE SCREENING

Green coffee is filtered through a proprietary system and screened for defects.

The coffee goes through a two stage cleaning system

REMOVING CHAFFS (COFFEE SKIN)

Chaffs are the outer layer of the coffee bean (the coffee skin) this is used as a filler. Most roasters do not remove chaffs due to the weight they will lose equaling less profit. Chaffs are 20-30% of the weight.

REMOVING CHAFFS FROM COOLING TRAY

Once the coffee is roasted it goes into the cooling tray where it is cooled down. The chaffs that re left over are filtered out through a separate system.

REMOVING STONES AND OTHER IMPURITIES FROM CUSTOM BUILT DESTONER

Since coffee is dried on cement slabs or dirt there are lots of common fillers such as: dust, rocks, stick and metal. It is extremely important to ensure that there are processed in place to remove them.

Roasted coffee is filtered out cleaned one more time bore being loaded into silo.

Once the coffee is cooled down it is loaded into the silo where it processes.

Coffee Tests

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DO A TEST AT HOME TO FIND OUT WHAT KIND OF COFFEE YOU HAVE BEEN DRINKING FOLLOW THESE FEW STEPS

Test one
Brew coffee (based on your time preference)
Try a cup after you brew it, write down a description of the taste
Leave the coffee for a couple of hours, write down a description of the taste
Leave the coffee for a couple more hours, write down a description of the taste
Test Two
Get out a white sheet of paper.
Place a couple of coffee beans on it
Put light to moderate pressure on it
Leave the coffee for a couple more hours, write down a description of the taste

If the coffee bean breaks easily and looks like ash then the coffee was over roasted and is low quality.
